Our seasoned leadership brings a powerful combination of innovative marketing, sales and engineering experience from Silicon Valley, agriculture and remote environmental monitoring sectors. Our engineering team includes decades of experience in telecommunications systems, low power sensor design and manufacture, remote environmental monitoring deployments and applications, software engineering and mechanical design. We focus on exceptional, multi-disciplined functional design to make our customers' deployments extremely successful.

Our focus is on remote, industrial “Internet of Things” applications, hence our name RioT—“Remote Internet of Things”. Our solutions are designed to wirelessly connect a variety of environmental monitoring sensors to remote stations, or directly to the Internet without the traditional notion of a "station".

In development for over 3 years, our unique hardware technology and custom-designed Wireless Intelligent Sensor Protocol (WISP) delivers up to 500 km2 coverage for sensor networks. WISP has been brought to market under the TITAN brand.

TITAN products offer advantages over competing technologies largely due to their extremely low power consumption combined with exceptional range and price performance. Our technologies are used to build private Low Power Wide Area (LPWAN) Wireless sensor networks for remote environmental monitoring applications.

Our Orbit brand of products utilize cellular and geostationary orbit satellite telemetry to bring data to the cloud, where it can be utilized to make timely decisions.

In 2016, RioT Technology Corp. (RioT) licensed the right to manufacture the GroPoint™ soil moisture technologies; RioT hired the E.S.I Environmental Sensors manufacturing and soil moisture experts bringing over 14 years of soil moisture monitoring expertise in house. In 2018 RioT acquired the patents for the soil moisture technologies under the GroPoint™ brand. In 2019, RioT was awarded the prestigious VIATEC Award for Innovation Excellence in Hardware. In 2021, RioT products have been deployed in over forty (40) countries around the world.
